Our systems are fully secured and encrypted whether they are wireless or hard wired
A “hard wired” system means just that, that every alarm monitoring device, or contact, in your home is wired back to the control panel. Devices can be defined as motion detectors, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide monitors, window contacts, door contacts or garage door contacts. The control panel is defined as the “brain” of your security system
A “WI-FI” system is a system that relies upon the meshed WI-FI systems in your home. The devices that are enrolled in our system are “supervised” and the messages they send in this supervision protocol, are encrypted. WI-FI You have no doubt heard of a lot of “hacking” that has occurred specifically with Ring Camera’s and Systems and the reason is that they are not encrypted systems. Some of the WI-FI devices we offer have an additional layer of security, called Z-Wave devices
Fully encrypted means fully secure
Why Ring is not all it is cracked up to be and the problems with non encrypted WI-FI Cameras
2019 saw an explosion of privacy issues and scandals for Ring. Researchers found a slew of vulnerabilities in the IoT device, including one that allowed attackers to spy on families’ video and audio footage, or one that left Wi-Fi network passwords exposed.
